HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Concord will join rehabilitation providers across the nation Sept. 18-24, 2016, in celebration of National Rehabilitation Week with the theme “The Power of Rehabilitation.”

Safer Transitions through Patient and Family Engagement

The evening is designed to be a collaborative program featuring providers from various locations, working to identify opportunities for improving the transition of care for patients.

Community Stroke Support Group: Hearing Assistive Technology


Location: HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital

Guest speaker Joan Marcoux, communication access specialist for the NHDHHS will be discussing hearing assistive technology.

Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease Support Group: Deep Brain Stimulators

Dr Stephen Lee will be joining us to discuss DBS treatment and to answer common questions about Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS).

Stroke Support Group- Thinking Outside of the Box- Solutions and Strategies from an Occupational Therapist

Nick Allard, OTR/L will join us for an open discussion about strategies and solutions for overcoming common challenges for Stroke Survivors.

NH Stroke Awareness Night at the Monarchs

Stroke Support Group- An Open Discussion about Caregivers
